Ringo handpicked the best tracks from the master recordings of his previous 2 solo projects, Ringo Rama and Choose Love, and the new 5.1 channel mixes were created under his personal supervision. Ringo Rama is a grown-up thrill ride, lovingly and at times movingly celebrates yesterday and today. The spontaneous, positive spirit at the heart of Starr’s work since his days with the Beatles is very much in evidence on Ringo Rama. The Deluxe Collector’s Edition contains 2 discs—an audio-only multi-channel DVD designed for multi-channel play, as well as a stereo CD playable on any standard Compact Disc playing device. The 5.1 disc is a DVD-Audio/DVD-Video hybrid with audio presented in high-resolution 96/24 5.1 surround sound.
To date Ringo has released 23 solo records, which includes 14 studio albums including his current Liverpool 8, and continues to tour regularly with his All Starr Band. Ringo’s music, as a solo artist and as a Beatle, is permeated with his personality – his warmth and humor, his exceptional musicianship – have given us songs we all know and love.

To be released on March 4th from Koch Records, this CD/DVD (audio only) contains brand new mixes of some tracks from RINGO RAMA and CHOOSE LOVE. Created under RINGO’s personal supervision, this new set contains new multi-channel mixes of his hand-picked favorite solo tracks from 2003’s RINGO RAMA and 2005’s CHOOSE LOVE. These tracks were produced by RINGO and MARK HUDSON. The 2 Disc CD set will contain stereo versions of these new mixes and will playable on all CD players. A DVD-Audio Disc edition of this set will feature the full all-new 5.1 channel mixes. The DVD Disc includes audio content only and plays on all DVD players. It is encoded in DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1, and to access advanced resolution DVD-A option a DVD-Audio Player will be required.
